A New School Year

PSALM 46:10 - Be still and know that I am God!

As my boys have begun a new school year, they have also begun soccer, basketball, boy scouts and flag football. Not to mention, Max learned how to ride his bike without the training wheels last week. He has a few scratches on his knees to prove it. Busy is the name of the game. Through all these new beginnings, God has constantly reminded our family that He is in control! He cares, he sees, he hears, he listens and he constantly yearns for our complete devotion to Him.

The biggest transition I've gone through during the beginning of a new school year is realizing that Elliott will be in middle school this time next year. I didn't cry when Elliott, my oldest, started Kindergarten. I was actually really happy and so was he! But now, I am a little anxious that Elliott will soon no longer be in "elementary" grade school. Elliott, however, is already looking towards middle school with excitement!

As I abide by Psalm 46:10 - Jesus gently whispers "I got it covered." Look towards the future with excitement!
